I was spending more time reading Salesforce for Dummies than I did analysing sales reports!
Finding a CRM that fits your specific requirements is difficult, but trust me, take your time finding the right one, as NOT one fits all.
We have just moved away from Salesforce, what a system……. IF we spent a fortune on getting them to write reports and making the system bespoke to us.
Before Salesforce we used ACT and Really Simple systems. Personally I didn’t get on with ACT, it wasn’t online and working from a desktop then, it made it hard to work away from the office.
Really simple systems, well is exactly what it says, it was really simple. We only had a couple in our sales team then, so did the job perfectly. As we’ve grown, we have needed something that was easy to report on every aspect of the sales team and work for us as a business, NOT everyone else, the solution we found = Call Pro CRM.
Call Pro has really has changed how our sales team work and has helped us report on any piece of information that is collected by the sales team:
Where the prospect has come from?
How many communications has it taken to close a prospect?
When is the prospect looking to do business with us next?
Has the sales agent spoke to the Decision Maker on a call?
These 4 examples are basic, yes, but Call Pro literally sets up the reports and they then get emailed to me automatically when I want them. No messing about with a Dummies book.
I once spent a whole weekend trying to run a report with a bar chart in! (I’m not joking)
I’m not saying move to Call Pro, as it may not fit YOU! But if you are looking for something bespoke and want a company that actually works with you to get the results you want, then give them a go.
I’d be intrigued to hear what other CRM’s people use and more importantly, WHY?
